Maren Handler Siegel is a skilled and knowledgeable psychotherapist, who has been practicing for over 25 years. She has a Masters of Social Work from Boston University, and has specialized training in couples/marriage from the Family Therapy Practice Center of Washington D.C.
Maren provides treatment for a variety of conditions. Her treatment approach is a hybrid of psychodynamic and cognitive models; one of support, exploration of emotional baggage, and problem solving while creating alternative methods of coping with life's difficulties.
'People usually come to therapy when the tools they use to manage their lives, relationships, and/or emotions are not working as well as they would like. My job is to help my clients find other, more productive strategies to manage and minimize these challenges'.
